Psychological Counselling

Working together
If you've found your way to this page, you might be curious, or even ready to try something different. Maybe you are tired of holding everything alone or have been carrying feelings for a long time that you have never quite known how to express.
This is a space where you can bring it all.
Gestalt is an approach rooted in the present moment. We pay attention to what is happening right now — in your body, your emotions, your patterns of relating — and work with that directly. The name comes from the German word for "whole." It reflects the belief that you cannot separate how you think from how you feel, hold yourself, or how you show up in your relationships.
In practice, this means our sessions may involve more than conversation.
-
I might invite you to notice what's happening in your body as you speak,
-
to explore a conflict through roleplay,
-
or to experiment with a different way of responding to something that usually pulls you off balance
The pace is yours. Nothing is forced.
Gestalt counselling is not about changing who you are. It is about becoming more aware of your triggers and relational patterns so you can overcome blocks, become more fully yourself, and build more satisfying connections.
Ready to Explore? If you're curious about Gestalt therapy or wondering if it’s the right approach for you, I’d be happy to talk with you. Get in touch for a confidential discussion.

Carrying emotions that have never had a safe place to land — including people who have spent years keeping the peace, putting others first, or feeling angry without knowing what to do with it
-
At a crossroads — sensing that something needs to shift but not yet knowing what or how
